Wet Fox

It’s been a dismal day weather-wise. A constant drizzle put paid to any chance of decent photos this morning (I tried a few shots at ISO 3200 but got nothing worth posting). Tonight the light rain persisted, but Pretty did put in a couple of appearances. We also heard some fox calls in the distance.

So for want of anything else, here are a few shots of Pretty, looking slightly bedraggled from the rain.

Damselfly Nymphs

I’ve barely picked up the camera this weekend, but the rain now seems to be clearing and I took a look out in the garden. No sign of any foxes, but the small pond is home to a thriving colony of damselfly nymphs. These will emerge in a blaze of colour in the summer (unless the newts get them first).

These shots are taken through the surface of the water. I’ll try to get some better ones over the coming weeks.
