The trail camera has been doing its stuff over recent weeks. Two or three foxes are passing through (slightly more frequently at the moment, though still painfully shy), plus three badgers. No sign of any cubs, but you can’t have everything. The video features all three badgers.

It was quiet at the pond today… overcast and a lot cooler than yesterday when we had record July temperatures. The rats are pretty visible at the moment and I spotted some mixing it with the ducks at the edge of the pond.

Just a short sequence of photos tonight, taken at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Arundel today. Several water voles were active at the edge of the site (by the entrance to the visitor centre), and their antics included a brief skirmish in the water. Not my best photos – but unusual enough to put up here.
