Competitive Behaviour

Young foxes are intensely competitive. These two (I think a young male and female) weren't in the mood for sharing when some chicken scraps magically appeared in the garden.
The young vixen is using her body to push the male out of the way

But teeth present a more severe warning

In the tangle they both grab and go

And a moment or two later, peace returns to the garden

    A lovely sequence of behaviour. I suppose it all started with "You're on MY side of the garden!". The peaceful symmetry of the last shot is great!:furious: Good to see you have those magical chickens in your garden too – I thought it was just me! :whistle:

    Lovely photos, especially the last one. If you cropped the last one to a portrait of the heads it might make an interesting if art compostion
