Many animals visit our garden, but there's one visitor who it is always a genuine pleasure to see and he was moseying around in the early hours of Thursday morning. Yes it's a fox, and yes it's Shutterbug.

And then he was gone…

  1. He's looking remarkably well!

  2. Sometimes I wonder what foxes did before humans were kind enough to build paths and steps for them :right:

  3. He looks healthy and in good condition

    Made their own? :left:

  4. dW, he's a very relaxed and confident fox. I suspect he gets his own way quite a lot.

  5. Darko, Shutterbug is doing well. He's slower than he used to be, but I suspect that's because he's more relaxed (and quite lazy).

Just be glad you don't live here (well I guess it might be quite interesting at times!)

  7. Certainly, interesting photo opportunities, although in truth a good part of my MSc dissertation was aimed at preventing a similar situation arising between bison and people in Grasslands NP. Park authorities need to be aware of animal migration routes before embarking on building projects. Astonishing pictures though :eyes:

    Yes, he really does

  9. Words, that elephant article is a gem! I'd get in trouble there, though, because I always want to know what they're thinking.

They lived (and still live) in places like the Wild Wood. Didn't you know?

    :yikes: :faint:

  11. dW/Adele, those elephants are a treat, but I can well imagine why you are looking for ways to prevent such occurrences, especially with bison.

  12. Sami, thanks!
