A bit of retouching

I was looking for a photo to use for Friday's 'Fox of the Day', and decided on this one from earlier in the week.

The problem – as you can see – is that one of the fox's eyes is badly affected by the camera flash. What I've done is clone the colour from his right eye onto the left. I also brightened the top two thirds of the image and added a tint. If you click the image, the finished version will load.

Meanwhile, Kinky has been visiting regularly. I still haven't managed more than rushed photos of her (maybe I'll have some luck at the weekend), but this one from tonight is the best of a very poor lot.

    I dropped by to see how the foxes are doing! I often do, but I am notoriously bad at posting comments. My apologizies.
