Many animals visit our garden, but there's one visitor who it is always a genuine pleasure to see and he was moseying around in the early hours of Thursday morning. Yes it's a fox, and yes it's Shutterbug.
And then he was gone…
Camera note: all shots taken with the Canon 7D and EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens.

9 Nov 2012Sometimes I wonder what foxes did before humans were kind enough to build paths and steps for them :right:

11 Nov 2012dW, he's a very relaxed and confident fox. I suspect he gets his own way quite a lot.

11 Nov 2012Darko, Shutterbug is doing well. He's slower than he used to be, but I suspect that's because he's more relaxed (and quite lazy).

Just be glad you don't live here (well I guess it might be quite interesting at times!)

11 Nov 2012Certainly, interesting photo opportunities, although in truth a good part of my MSc dissertation was aimed at preventing a similar situation arising between bison and people in Grasslands NP. Park authorities need to be aware of animal migration routes before embarking on building projects. Astonishing pictures though :eyes:

12 Nov 2012Words, that elephant article is a gem! I'd get in trouble there, though, because I always want to know what they're thinking.

13 Nov 2012dW/Adele, those elephants are a treat, but I can well imagine why you are looking for ways to prevent such occurrences, especially with bison.
