We're tripping over badgers these days. Well, not quite, but they are visiting nightly; and while not exactly confident at least one of the younger ones is getting used to our presence. These shots were taken in the early hours on Monday morning.
The foxes are still around and making regular trail cam appearances. If I don't manage any photos soon, I'll put a short edit together from the clips.
Camera note: all shots taken with the Canon 7D and EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens.

14 Aug 2012Badger is eating all the food you've left, this is why foxes don't come around :sherlock:
As for black/white colour, this morning I've seen a huge skunk feeding on garbage because someone forgot to close the box :irked: :awww:

But yes, urban wildlife will appear wherever garbage isn't secured. It's one of the universal constants of ecology :right:
More awesome badger shots, Words!

16 Aug 2012dW, they adore peanuts (and peanut butter). And best of all, cats hate them!

16 Aug 2012Darko, nice to see a skunk, but don't startle it :yuck: The foxes are having to compete for food, which is really how it should be.

16 Aug 2012Darko, it's the gulls that raid all our garbage.
