Despite the ban on fox hunting in England, it seems that the hunters are out in force at the start of the 'season'.

Many of these will be seeking to stay within the law, but the legislation is about to face its first real test.

  1. Pure savagery on an animal they don't understand. The opposite of civilisation this is. I hope they are stopped.

  2. I live in the Hampshire countryside, although I was not born and raised here, and there is much beauty around me (we moved here in 1971), and I have lived here long enough to know that at the heart of the argument for 'fox hunting' is the matter of class 'tradition & practice', something that has been going on for centuries. All other arguments by the pro-hunting lobby are both falacious and illogical, choosing to ignore the simple historical fact that they hunt foxes for the 'sport' (so called) of the Hunt itself and the pleasure it brings to them in doing so. There are few things more grotesque than the sight of someone being 'blooded' with the fox's brush, cut from the slaughtered animal. It is highly unlikely that any 'Hunt person' will ever see what they do in any other light, for, like an incestuous family, the practice and its consequences are ingrained in them to a profound extent.

i think that fox hunting should be banned because it is very very cruel and how would you like it if a pack of dogs chased you then viciously attacked you and ripped you apart. Then the owners of the dogs will cut off you and make you into a coat along with millions like you.
