Well I had… you know those neat little icons that appear on the broswer page tab to remind you where you are. Well I discovered how to do them (dead easy) and added one to my site yesterday.
My curiosity had been triggered by the fact that the stats page on my new hosting company was reporting something called favicon.ico as 'not found'. Seems browsers – including the IE6 'bruiser' search for them automatically.
A quick websearch took me to www.clickfire.com/viewpoints/articles/favicons.php and all I needed to do was create a 16 pixel square, use Irfanview (good free image editor) to create the .ico format, and drop the thing in my root directory. Fab!
Good weekend for The Blues, and just an outside chance we can catch Arsenal before the season ends… if we win all our remaining games. I can see them dropping another 4 or 5 points which would take it down to the last match of the season. And mercy of mercies, Sven is not coming our way (at least for now). Nothing against the guy but Ranieri took us to the Champions League on a shoe-string and is doing great.
