Lousy photo, I know, but I couldn't believe my luck when I was out watching a couple of cubs and Kinky the vixen showed up. I only managed this one shot before she trotted across the garden and through the fence with the cubs following behind. I'd caught a brief glimpse of her crossing the road in front of the house earlier this evening.
For those new to this blog, Kinky is the mother of some of the cubs and was suffering badly with mange earlier in the year. There's more about her treatment in the March archive, plus photos scattered through February and March. A couple of the better ones showing her loss of fur are in the 14th March entry.
And while I'm posting bad photos, here's one of me with one of the cubs last night.

It looks like something out of the Land of the Giants, but that's partly camera angle. Mind you, I forget how small the cubs still are. It's only when an occasional adult shows that you realize just how young they still are (not quite 3 months old).
And if you're still with me, you deserve some decent pictures. The first one coming up is from yesterday evening. The cub was at the far end of the garden when I zoomed in.

And finally, I'll leave you with one from tonight.
