At this point I slowed down the shutter speed dramatically, and increased the ISO settings to be able to shoot with minimal light. The next photos show the orange glow at around the totality. These are hand-held shots by the way.

Edit: Sorting through last night's efforts I found this shot, probably my most successful at the full eclipse. 22:44

8 Mar 2007Thanks everyone for the feedback. It was great watching it turn into an orange ball. Surreal, and you could really see it as a solid object, not just the disk we normally get.
