Kinky the vixen wandered through again today. The photos here were taken through a window so aren't great. Generally her coat is looking in good shape, and her tail is recovering as you can see in the third picture. Her left eye seems permanently damaged by the mange she had (notice the slight swelling and somewhat slitty look), but she's evidently coping well.
As to the cubs, well originally there were seven, but I think one may not have survived. Over the past two or three weeks we've only ever been able to count six. What fascinates me about the cubs is that they are still only three months old, yet their agility and independence is astonishing. They are quite capable of jumping up fairly high walls (3 foot plus), negotiating the pond with ease, and extending their range. It's only when you see an adult that you realize just how small they are.
And now for the video.
