Just completed a new gallery of pictures from May. Over 50 of the best pix from the month, including plenty (I think) that haven't yet been on here. The exciting title? Fox Cub Gallery #3.

Several of the cubs were out again early evening. I'm beginning to be able to tell them apart, especially one larger cub who is definitely jockeying to be the alpha. He arrives late, then storms in and takes over. His tail is thicker too. Some of the smaller ones take a snap at him, but his whole demeanour is one of control. There's also a shy female who sit out most of the mayhem, plus one who tends to hiccup (I'm slightly concerned about that, but the cub seems otherwise healthy).

If I get the chance I'll try and get clear photos of each of them, but it may be tricky. From a distance, one cub looks pretty much like another.
