The long evenings have given so many opportunities for photographing the foxes that I'm barely keeping up with myself, so this is going to have to be a bit of a shorthand update of the past few days. Do also check out the additions to the June Birds album.
Tuesday saw Roofy back on his roof
While later that evening the cub went hunting for May Bugs
The bold cub was back early on Wednesday evening
Wednesday in the late sunshine
Wednesday, mid evening
In the very early hours of Thursday, I finally photographed two of the cubs
And an after-midnight portrait of the bold cub
While this evening, Roofy and the bold cub came out to play
And groom
And stick tongues out
And stand on two legs…
…while trying to catch May Bugs

22 Jun 2007Aah, well I'm envying the opportunity you have to take pictures. I think we need a better name for 'the bold cub' :). You've taken some very nice 'evening' shots…

3 Jul 2007Glad you enjoyed this set. It was an excellent few days for sure.
Adele: I saw the tongue shoot out and had to have the image. 🙂
Ally: I've been after that sort of shot for a while. The cub is just about confident enough now to try to get up close like that. I hope to get some more.
Cristalrox: Thanks for the link!
