Back at the start of November I posted an update about the vixen we occasionally see.
She's been a more regular visitor of late, generally in the day time and always when I'm at work 🙁 So I was delighted to glance out of the back window today to see an unfamiliar figure at the back of the garden. Bold as brass she was, sunning herself in the middle of the leaf mold bin. I left her to it (she scares easily), but managed to get this shot through the window.
They obviously like the warmth of the leaf mold bin and both she and the dog fox have figured the quick way into it (using the large plastic compost bin behind it as a step-up).
