I suspect it may be a record… for the briefest stay in the Opera Top Ten, but it seems I was ousted after a mere 24 hours by the much more prolific KayFour. Looks like I'll need to re-think my strategy. I'm not surprised really, I don't get nearly personal enough in this journal to attract a big audience.
The nearest I can get to changing that is to report that I've entered the BBC Digital Britain photo competition. They're putting together an all encompassing collection of non-professional photographs to record Britain's rural, urban and human landscapes. Nice idea, and a TV programme runs alongside.
Anyway, I've entered and if you fancy voting for my pic just click here: Vote

15 Jul 2005Congratulations on your rise to the top! Keep writing and you'll make it back there, again!
Actually you don't have to get terribly personal in these journals. Any interesting subject will increase your reader ship. I normally go to the "Latest Posts" and read what is there, commenting on some and leaving others alone.
But, basically speaking, we are all nosy and we love to hear all the dandy stuff happening in other people's lives.
Also, I hope you win your photo competition!
Welcome to Operaland,
