2018/19 has proved a very fruitful period for fox watching. We had a number of young cubs in the garden throughout 2018, accompanied by a 2017 fox we called Pretty. She was not their mother, but acted as a support vixen and spent many hours shepherding the latest arrivals as they explored and played in the garden. By the end of the year most of the cubs had ventured away, but one stayed around. We called him Wolfy, for his unusually dark coat.
