A selection of images of Lou Reed playing live in London. Most of the images are from the Hammersmith Odeon in October 1979. There is one image (Lou has shaggier hair and glasses) which is from the New Victoria in 1977. These are scanned from old prints I have. Irritatingly the negatives have vanished over the years, but they are a nice personal memory for me of some classic gigs.
The band in 1979 is Lou, with Stuart Heinrich (guitar), Chuck Hammer (Roland synth guitar), Ellard ‘Moose’ Boles (bass), Michael Fonfara (keyboards) and Michael Suchorsky (drums).
