Three Foxes

Well, it's almost three foxes.

First sighting this evening was the cub. It trotted across the garden. I could have managed a photo but at the moment I don't want to startle it so just watched. But I did take a photo of of some foxgloves.

Next, about a minute after the fox cub, I heard another fox (adult) clambering over the fence. It was the vixen. Now I knew she wouldn't make getting a picture easy so I lined up a shot of the rear fence, but she beat me to the trigger and had disappeared behind a mass of foliage as the shutter fired. She's in here somewhere (believe me).

Finally, I think they took pity on me. This is Shutterbug offering an impossible to miss photo opportunity.

Adele, it's a shame she's so shy, but then again it's a decent survival tactic.
