Just a short clip of the hedgehog studiously ignoring the fox, which doesn't seem to know quite what to do. Plus a puzzle for you at the end of the video. What is it that appears from the top left of the screen and zooms down, and seems then to scurry on the ground. A leaf? A moth? A bat? Or even a spider?
Some photos from the day later on, when I've sorted through them.

Looks like a leaf – maybe one of last year's dead ones, if you still have them hanging around…

Looks like moth to me but can`t be sure.

7 Apr 2009Darko, the hedgehog just takes no notice of the fox at all 😀 A moth is a possibility, but maybe a leaf, or maybe not.

7 Apr 2009Anon, could be a leaf (we have plenty still from last year ready to drop), but nothing much else is blowing around.

7 Apr 2009A bat, I'd guess – moths aren't often that specific about where they are flying!

7 Apr 2009Interesting video! 😀 i think that was a leaf falling, but it wasnt that windy last saturday though.
I was at Heathrow again that day taking more impressive shots.

7 Apr 2009Adele, I'd obviously really like it to be a bat, but I've nothing to compare it with not having seen how they fly down to the ground. A moth seems unlikely (wrong flight pattern as you say).

7 Apr 2009Mark, thanks! A leaf was my first thought but nothing else seems to be moving, and there are usually leaves on the ground that I can spot when it's windy. I may never know! :sherlock:
You're getting some excellent aircraft photos. Great for identifying them. I had never realized just how many major airlines and types of plane there are.
