The trail cam provided the evidence. We have four fox cubs. They were out in the garden last night with the dog fox (who I only ever see via the cam). He seems to be doing a good job.
And here's a photo from a couple of nights ago…. about as Disneyesque as they come!
Camera note: photo taken with the Canon 40D and EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens.

9 May 2010Absolutely gorgeous!! I love the animated hop @ 1:46 and the water tray that doubles as a foot bath at the end! 💡 Their parents must have bags of energy with those little rascals! 😆

9 May 2010Four of them? :eyes: :faint: No wonder she is tired and have a rest in your garden :left:
But, that`s nice, to have them around

9 May 2010What a wonderful sight! 😀 Most excellent. Surely they'll turn up in daylight too as the summer comes.
The begging behaviour reminds me of one of my dogs while I was trying to eat breakfast this morning :insane:

9 May 2010Mark, it would be fun. I've only really been that lucky with them once, a few years ago.

9 May 2010Darko, a real handful I would think, but she's very welcome to use the garden to get a few minutes peace.

9 May 2010Vulpes, I think it's no surprise that the vixen curls up and snoozes when she can. Nice avatar btw!

9 May 2010Adele, it was bit of a treat to see four together. The begging is very cute, especially as there's more of the same on the ground.
