As predicted, the pond is proving a fertile location for wet weather photography. I took these tonight. There were no newts in the pond, but several were out in the surrounding area on a nightly hunt.

The pond itself is in fact quite lively. A couple of frogs were resting on the surface, surrounded by innumerable damselfly nymphs.

There's a nymph in the right foreground of the previous shot. I only noticed it when I was going through the shots later. This one though was intentional. 😉

No fox photos tonight. The weather didn't really suit either of us! But I have uploaded a small gallery of 'fox portraits'. It's a fairly random selection going back over the past couple of years.
