For those who have been following the proposed badger cull here in the UK, the promised parliamentary debate was held today. Although the vote is not binding on the government the motion to abandon the cull was voted overwhelmingly in favour by 147 votes to 28.

    I still haven't heard back from my MP. I suspect he abstained, but we'll see.

    You'd think they'd learn, but no doubt they'll try again next year with the same outcome.

  8. politics need to stay out of nature cept to protect it and all habitats. but there are so many stupid ones in politics. must be a course they take in college. stupidity 101. the badger is smiling so all is good.
