I'm not too big to admit when I get it wrong. One of the cubs (at least) is definitely still around. I had a fleeting glimpse this morning when he jumped on to the fence (and jumped back down – on the wrong side – when he saw me), and then again early afternoon when he was sleeping in a neighbouring garden.
Later on I was out with the camera taking some photos of spiders, while my better half (Jackie) was pruning some of the shrubs and planning some of the improvements we plan to put in place for next year. I think curiosity got the better of the cub and he popped into the garden to see what she was doing.
Now Jackie has a way with the foxes. All through the summer they've watched her in the garden, investigated every planting and settled at her side. And today was no different. When Jackie sat down for a break, so did the cub.
And when we finally went inside, he settled down at the front of the garden for a well deserved nap.
He was back again very briefly this evening, but didn't hang around. I don't think it was me. I think it was this chap!

Hi Words its great to see him still around and they love your gardening and want to join in obviously hehe:D
I think hes doing the gradual leave home thing, go away for a few nights then come back, then later go away for 2 weeks then come back until he finds new territory, or hopefully he will stay around for a long time 🙂
