Just gone Broadband :)

Ok, so it's hardly rocket science, but I'm a happy bunny.

Apart from meaning that I can now get a connection without blocking the line, it means I can use my web-host's web interface. On dial-up it was taking about a minute and a half to load a page, which made it more or less unusable. Whizzes through now though!

Plan to set up a wireless network in the next few days, so expect some tales of woe and frustration :irked:

Off now to test the connection to the limit!

    with great power comes great responsibility.

    just be aware of all the viruses, ad-wares, spywares, etc. since ur using opera, it's safer anyway. 😀

    don't forget your daily dose of antivirus updates n firewall too!

    Have just added a router with built-in firewall… nothing getting through so far. Run ad-aware frequently, plus use F-Secure av (updates several times a day).

    More on all this will be added soon… Still having fun (watching the olympics as I type)…
