A number of journals have recently been spammed by the addition of 'comments' linked to a technology website in India. The spam appears about a dozen times on my journal, scattered among the individual postings. Currently there's no way of removing them, and no central moderation. The same pattern occurs on plenty of other journals.
Now I'm not suggesting we have moderators looking at what we put in our journals, but I am asking for a change to be made to allow us to edit or delete comments (maybe with a note being inserted to say the comment has been edited/deleted by the journal owner).
If you want to add you support please pop over to the Removing Spam from Journals thread on the forums.
Thanks!
