I wasn't planning to post tonight but I just checked the stats for the main Everything is Permuted web site and found that it had clocked up just over 1 million page views so far this year :faint:

The most popular page remains the Fox of the Day so here's a quick recap of some of the photos featured there (the whole collection has its own index page).

The very first fox of the day, one of the cubs from June 2005

And this, from June 2006

On the roof, from April 2007

And the star of the show, the old dog fox from June this year

So a huge thank you to everyone who has visited either the blog here, or the website! :wine:

Camera note: first photo taken with an Olympus C370 3.2 megapixel point-and-shoot camera; the second (2006) with the Canon S2 IS; the third (2007) and fourth (2008) with the Canon EOS 400D.

  3. Wow congrats Words! 😀 I visit Fox of the Day a lot on my mobile phone when iam not near a computer, i will do the same in Thailand probably so i dont miss it while iam away lol 😆

You could put a comment section for each photo that makes the day but then you would take up more Fox spotting time replying to them i think!

Only a week until i fly, i better get the last 3 posts done on my blog quick!

  4. Congrats Words! You amply deserve it and that first cub is a beauty! 🙂
    :hat:  :hat:

  5. Congratulations!!! Very well deserved!!

  6. Adele, I really like the early shots. They were the start of the photography and wildlife 'obsession' so I owe a lot to those first visitors.

  7. Thanks Darko :cheers;

  8. Mark, oh that's great you get it on your phone  I thought about creating a comments section but it's hard to link them to the photos which are only really up for a day. When I get time I might see if I can add something to the 'complete' set. I think the software gives me an option somewhere, but I'm not sure how easy it is to do. Looking forward to reading about your adventures in Thailand!

  9. Thanks Lois!

Love the June '06 shot – always remember to tilt your head when kissing! :flirt:

  16. Vulpes, those cubs were so cute. I miss them. They spent a good part of that summer in the garden with us. Not good for the flowers, but great fun to watch.

  17. 1 million :hat:

But it's easy to see why you're so popular.

  18. Thanks Mick!
