If I can't photograph a fox, I can always point the camera at the pond. It needs a bit of a clear out, but the residents really don't seem to mind all the debris and weeds. There are the frogs…

And there are the baby newts…

And most numerous of all, the damselfly nymphs.

  2. Adele, that's one of my favourites of the nymph shots. It was just beneath the surface and at a sensible angle. I really must clear some leaves out of the pond though otherwise it may run out of room for any water.
