It's been a while since I've been able to dedicate a post to the foxes (er… scrap that… it's been just under a week, but seems longer ).
Start again. It's been relatively quiet on the fox front this week, though we've heard plenty of noise late at night. Sightings have been few, not least because of the weather. There are limits to how long I'll stand out in the rain and cold waiting for something to happen. But the old dog fox showed up this evening, and hung around long enough for a good variety of photos. They're included in the new Fox Watch 2008 album.
Note the perfect alignment of his legs as he walks
Portrait with reflection in water tray
Camera note: all shots taken with the EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens and Canon 430EX flash unit.

6 Jan 2008Adele, such tidy walkers. He tends to keep to the path as well (most of the time).

6 Jan 2008Mark, it was a camera bag he tried to steal! But as for the torch, it's fairly large so it's difficult for them to make off with. He's definitely my favourite of the local foxes, but then he's been visiting since 2005 so we're pretty much old friends. 😀
