20 May 2008Clever 'ol hedgehog! 😀 Nice sequence capture of the foxes.

20 May 2008Vulpes, both foxes went over and sniffed at the hedgehog. It did a minor curl into a ball, but was not too bothered and soon returned to eating and cleaning itself! I didn't give myself a great angle for the foxes, but I'm glad I caught the vixen's posturing.

20 May 2008Sweet hedgehog, but the fox behaviour shots are great. She really is gaping in the third one. What with the eyeshine and the flattened ears as well, she actually looks slightly big cat-like :eyes: :cat:

21 May 2008Adele, thanks. I love moments like that. I can see what you mean about the 'big cat' look. The sound she made was a bit a give-away though.

21 May 2008Lois, it was great to watch the two foxes. That's the nicked-ear vixen who is always very cautious around the dog fox, and quite nervy with the bold vixen too.

21 May 2008Neil, yes the hedgehog was very nearly the star of the show last night.
