My theory that foxes are jealous creatures and read blogs received another slice of empirical evidence on Sunday. Almost as soon as I'd finished posting about the young field foxes than I heard slight noise outside and sure enough Shutterbug was curled up on the flowerbed just outside our rear window. He's clearly not a fox to be usurped by mere country dwellers!

He was back again last night, hiding at the far end of the garden under the wild rose bushes.

No sign of him yet tonight, but I think he'll be around. He's been showing up more frequently on the trailcam and may be making his bid for 'winter rights' to the garden.
