  1. Those are truly astounding!

    :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

  2. Little jewels

  3. Pretty aren't they! All taken on a spider's web hanging across some rosemary in a bed at the front of the garden. If you look closely you can see the rosemary (inverted) inside the droplets. the effect is best on the first shot.

these were my first real attempt at something like this. Not an original idea (credit to the chap who goes under the name of Lord V on Flickr). He has some utterly amazing water droplet photos, plus some of the finest insect macros I've ever seen.

  4. Amazing. Like a little planets

  6. Fantastic:D I saw something like that on the Daily Mail once earlier in the year, its amazing how well some cameras can capture the beautiful reflections. Well done:yes:

  7. Darko, I see what you mean about planets. The red one especially. :spock:

  8. Mark, if you go to the link 'utterly amazing water droplets' further up the comments, you'll get to the page of the guy who did the photos in the Daily Mail. He also pops in to WAB every now and then.

  9. Thanks Niki

  10. amazing how much beauty is right under our nose :), these are truly dreamy, what time of the day did you take these?

they are in fact, quite inspiring, i think i'll go back and revive my abandoned raindrop project… thank you for sharing 🙂

  11. Stunning shots!

  12. Kora, they were taken late morning, just after 11.20 to be exact (I couldn;t remember but cheked the EXIF data). Glad you liked them. I haven't had an opportunity to try any more since then. But spiders and light rain seems a perfect combination.

  13. Thanks Vulpes
