Just a few shots today, taken early this evening, of a common darter that I spotted resting on a branch of our small apple tree.

  7. Darko, I've not been out looking for dragonflies this year, so I've been pleased to see the few we've had in the garden.

  8. Saw swarms of dragonflies while at the lake in Saskatchewan. They must have been doing their job as everyone was commenting on the lack pf mosquitoes,

  9. Mick, they're very efficient predators (even in the larval phase).
