We're at the start of a 'health' week at work, which means there are various organized walks. Today's was at lunchtime (which is civilized), but tomorrow they start out at 6.45 a.m. with a walk organized by the RSPB. I'm gambling on the weather being ok for it, though rain is forecast overnight. Anyway, as ever I've been taking the camera out with me and getting far too many shots. But I really liked this one, which is an excuse to start a 'Horses' album. Nothing else in it yet, but I'm sure it won't stay like that for too long.

With all the amphibian activity I haven't paid too much attention to the foxes, but the old dog fox spent quite a while in the garden this evening. Here's three.

  1. Oh my, what white white fangs he's got! I wonder does he floss… 😀

  2. It almost looks like he's flying in the second shot

  3. Very curious fox 😀

  4. Great shots of the fox. The last one is my fave, he looks so cute and curious.

  5. Its a Flying Red Fox 😆 His teeth are perfect! He is doing an impersonation of Roofy in the last shot, i wonder where Roofy is now.

  6. He does appear to have superceded the laws of gravity in that second shot :wizard:

  7. Oh my! Foxy lady on a strange hair day!

  8. Just wonder if you had seen this picture.

  9. Darko, in that third shot he's watching our door!

  10. Eric, for once I knew he was going to jump. I didn't quite get the alignment right though, but it's the best of that sort of shot to date.

  11. Vulpes, yes he has a good set of teeth on him!

  12. Elke, I like that photo too. I love the curiosity on his face as he's watching.

  13. Adele, he does look remarkably relaxed in the shot doesn't he. Amazing energy from a standing start.

  14. LOL! mark, of course. Perfect photo for you! We haven't seen Roofy in a while, but this old fellow started it all off. Here he is in July 2006.

  15. Rick, excuse the late response! That's a great image. I'd not seen it before. Thanks for putting it up.

  16. I am simply amazed at your "fox" pictures.
I had one for a pet once and I never could get a picture of him. I would wind up with a picture of an empty bed and if lucky, the tip of his tail in the shot. They are quick.
