Just a few shots of my favourite Brighton (and Hove) landmark, the ruins of the West Pier.

And just opposite the pier, is the Peace Statue erected in 1912 as a memorial to Edward VII, and which more or less marks the boundary between Brighton and Hove (now unified as Brighton & Hove).

  1. Look like something in movie Waterworld”!

Not a good movie, unlike your photographs

    1. Darko, I’ve not seen Waterworld. The length of it always put me off!

  2. Yes, that might be a problem, especially if the movie is boring. Trouble is that I always want to watch it to the very end, hate to stop watching it if it still on, despite the disappointment that might be waiting at the end 😛

    1. I’ll watch some bad films all the way through, but I couldn’t take more than 20 minutes of Avatar before giving up. I’m tempted now to record Waterworld next time it’s on TV… I can then watch it in chunks.

      1. 😀
