It's been quiet tonight. Apart from a couple of frogs in the pond almost nothing has moved in the garden. The only fox I've seen was, just now, and it was nothing more than a brief glimpse of (I think) Stumpy. He was at the rear of the garden, and as I moved to get a closer look he vanished as only foxes can. Silently. If it was him (the trailcam may confirm), he's a large fox. It was his height that caught my attention (I didn't get to see his brush).
He was here on Thursday night as well, with a vixen (Bold?). And so was the cub, this time behaving rather more carefully around the hedgehogs.
Last night (Friday), was the turn of Bold to pay a second lengthy visit of the week.
Walking
Sitting
Scratching
Posing for the camera
Camera note: all the shots of the vixen were taken with the EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens.
