I've been somewhat distracted over the past few days, a situation likely to persist. There have been some opportunities for photos so this is a mixed bag as a means of catching up.

January 28th…
Blackbird

And squirrel

January 29th…

Just the moon

January 30th… the fulmars and other Rottingdean birds (gulls and oystercatchers)

The last day of the month was very quiet, and best left unreported. Which brings me to today…

A gull, and the moon at soon after dawn…

A sheep in the early morning sun…

And a squirrel, deep in woodland shade…

The Bold Vixen has been spotted on the trail cam over recent nights. Her strange patches are still evident. With luck our paths will cross and I'll get some more pictures of her soon.

  1. Lovelly photos. 😀 I noticed you had gone quiet on here, you must be very busy, tell them that you need a little rest lol. 😛

  2. Great photos, especially of that blackbird

  3. Wonderful shots!

  4. Excellent shot of the moon and the gull!

  5. What a lovely set. The 1st blackbird and fulmar in flight with the lovely soft light are highlights for me

  6. Thanks Neil. I never get bored with the fulmars. They're such active birds, always so purposeful even when they are sitting on the front porch of their homes.

  7. Adele, thanks. The light was atrocious at that time of day, but it was a nice combination of elements.

  8. Thanks Erwin!

  9. Darko, thanks. The blackbird was very tame, unlike the ones in the garden here.

  10. Thanks Lois!

  11. Mark, it may be a bit like that for a while but it won't last forever!

  12. Well, I guess a food has something to do with it :chef:

  13. A Great set of Pict
