Down by the Farm

For a slight change of pace, I wandered along by some local farms today…
There were sheep in the fields, and poppies among the grass

And nearby, a perfect gaggle of geese

Deep among the crops, a roe deer peeps out…

And a horse grazes among the sheep.

Mark, thanks. I had to be eagle-eyed to see the deer. They were a long way off and very nearly hidden from sight. I could just see some colour in the field and had no idea what it was until I looked through the camera.

The geese have composed themselves very nicely! 🙂

I saw a roe deer buck from the train yesterday, lying down in the grass. Kind of unusual.

Thanks Anna. I was pleased with the horse. I'm currently using it as my desktop image.

Adele, the geese were being very well behaved (for geese, that is).

Beautiful shots! I love the sheep with the poppies! It's like a painting – someone bringing all the elements together to make something very beautiful!
