It's late so this will be a quick post… three different animal confrontations seen during the day.

First (and with a relatively unusual main subject) a lesser black-backed gull being harassed by a young herring gull.

Next up, two very common birds: jackdaws, scrapping about something or other.

And third, two fox cubs competing for peanuts…

And as a bonus… two more shots of the fox cubs.

  3. Darko, the foxes are always nervous when it's windy, but you could be right. Animals like things to be quite stable and recently the weather has been anything but stable.

  6. Adele, it wasn't. It took off moments later and was 'politely' escorted out of the local territory by a squadron of herring gulls.
