This morning, in the skies above our garden. The pigeons and rooks suddenly took to the wing. I looked up and saw this! Much improved on the efforts my old camera managed.

The quality really is very impressive :up: A Canon 18 – 55mm lens came with my camera, so I have two lenses to play with, but I'd still like a 400mm one! 😥 I was just looking on Canon's site and they used to make a 1200mm lens for…er…$89,000! :eyes:
$89,000 :eyes: For that much I'd expect them to get the bird to come and pose in front of the camera.

I'm already feeling I'm going to lose that battle, though it will be a shorter lens. The 100-400L will have to wait!
