But it's not a butterfly

Nor is it a buzzard…

Yes…

it's a…

Badger!!!

I was already outside when it showed up. I could hear a lot of noise by the fence and thought either a cat or fox had jumped down. I shone the torch to the back of the garden to see, and this beauty appeared. It paused for a second or so, and then ambled on its way. Chuffed? You bet I am 😀

  3. Oh excellent. Persistance pay off 🙂 Nice photos

  4. chuffed seems like the perfect word for it, although I've not heard this word before! what an experience.

  5. Thanks Adele! I still have to figure out how it got in to the garden. I suspect it came in over the fence (or through it :yikes: )

  6. Thanks Jill! It was a good moment.

  7. Darko, well it was tolerant last night (for about 2 seconds, which is long enough!) 😀

  8. Neil, it had to happen eventually I guess. There have been so many near misses. 😀

  9. Yay what a great shot of the Badger well done! Hope he visits more often.

  11. Cynthia, thanks! My thoughts too, when it happened.

  12. Mark, I keep watching out for badgers, but they're very shy. I may be lucky again though.
