Yes it's true! Sometime during the day my website passed the million page view count. :faint:
Now page view counts aren't the same as visitors, or even 'views'. It just the number of page files served up by the server. But who cares… a million of anything sounds good to me.
Meanwhile my internet connection has virtually ground to a halt tonight (totally unconnected to the above and consisting of constant time-outs on uploading whether to this space or my website). After numerous attempts I managed to upload a couple of images to my webspace. I took the photos this morning in the carpark at work. So that's what I'm showing tonight.
Meet the hungry song thrush… it's enjoying a worm in the first shot. Nice breakfast!
Oh and the old dog fox just showed up while I was typing this! I'm not even going to attempt a picture though.

Oh, and that thrush, here in Canada that looks like a juvenile robin to me.

29 Mar 2007Congrats  :hat: That really is an amazing milestone.
Amazing thrush photos! I don't think I've ever seen a photo of one in mid-worm swallow before.
PS hope your internet connection stablises soon 🙁

I absolutely adore your site, and love hearing how the old and young fox are getting on. I read it via a syndicated feed on LiveJournal, there area few readers there 🙂
What inspired you to start this blog?

29 Mar 2007Puzzle, Glad to know I have a readership over on Live Journal 🙂 I've looked around there a few times.
The blog started when I first picked up the Opera browser, but then I started noticing the foxes visiting the garden, took a few pictures, bought a new camera, and it somehow escalated. I think the intention was to keep easily accessible documentation of what was going on. The website takes more time to look after, but with the blog I can see, shoot and upload. It makes keeping a record simple. Plus it's good to share.

Keep on blogging 🙂 I absolutely love your updates. When I made the syndicated accounted over on LiveJournal there was only myself and one other reader(she stumbled across your pictures) that has now grown to 5.
All I need now is my own garden, I have the foxes but of the stuffed cuddly variety 😉
