Meet the Graveyard Squirrel (Photo Special)

The weather continues to improve, but it was still overcast this morning when I took this sequence of a squirrel in a graveyard.

The graveyard seems to be in grave condition.
I suspect the squirrel was checking the place out because he heard that a lot of nuts were buried there.
Sorry if that offended anyone, but anyone who knows me knows that I find that sort of thing irresistible.
These are really quite endearing shots, Words … how is it that we find ourselves drawn to animals which can be so destructive? Squirrels can really mess up a house, almost to the extent of needing to tear it down and start over.

dW, in the south we tend to get on ok with greys as we no longer have any reds left at all. So people do find them cute and playful, especially in parks. These ones are much more cautious of humans.
