  1. Brilliant photos 😀 It came so quick didnt it, i woke up at 7am, no snow then by 8am……!!!!!!!! lol, its all gone now though.

  2. Wow!! These are really great photos Words!
I'm surprised you were able to get the snow to show up against the body of the gull. Wonderful sequal…
even it if it is "white stuff"… 😉

  3. Great shot of the gull! Against the pale sky, very effective  Seems to help outline the motion.

There was a good four inches of snow on the flat roof at one point :right: I wasn't expecting snow at all today, let alone this!

  4. Brrrrr!!! :smurf: Nice shots. 😎

  5. And this is supposed to be april :irked:
Fortunately, no snow here, some heavy rain yesterday but tomorrow will be warmer

  6. They're all great, but I really like the 5th one – the upper one looks like he's really mischievious and thoroughly enjoys playing in the snow.

  7. Mark, it sounds like you got it earlier than us. It started here about 9.45. Just a few specks. We were on our way out but within 10 minutes were in a full-scale blizzard and had to turn back. That's when I took the first shot on the previous post. We've still got snow in the garden, freezing over. I imagine it will go some time tomorrow.

  8. Thanks Bitzy. The gull was probably the hardest shot to get. It got quite a working over in Photoshop to pull out any contrast.

  9. Lois, the pigeons were great. I took loads of shots, but most were too dark or too slow. Or had the wood pile in the way!

  10. Vulpes, yes cold indeed :smurf:

  11. Darko, welcome to an English summer :yikes:

  12. Adele, the gull was a real struggle to get (and process). The exposure settings were going berserk. Either no speed or no light.

  13. :faint:
