The drive-thru sushi bar was open early this morning. Customers were already lining up when I arrived.

There was a brief discussion between two of the customers.

And then it was time to take-away…

…to a more private spot to enjoy the feast.

Elsewhere around the pond the goslings were on the march.

The juvenile moorhens were paddling in the shallows.

And a squirrel was scampering between the pond and surrounding trees.

  1. No way someone would steal food from seagull 😆

  2. Thanks Erwin!

  3. Darko, I was surprised that the crows didn't make more of an effort to steal the fish. Loitering with intent is never going to spook a gull. :bandit:

  4. Great pictures.
Well it was just a gold fish and not
    the expensive koi fish. 😀

  5. What was a goldfish doing in the road in the first place? :eyes: Where is Sherlock when he's needed :right: :sherlock:

    Very cool shots though 🙂

  6. Adele, I'm surprised you need to ask that question. It was trying to get to the other side of course 😉

  7. Steffi, yes just a cheap meal, but very fresh.

  8. Very nice shots
