Just a quick post to show how the frog spawn is developing. This shot was taken this evening in fairly poor weather conditions (that's my excuse). Seriously, it's easier (even with flash) to take this sort of shot in bright sunshine. In the dark (even with a torch and a pre-light from the flash unit) it's quite tricky to get enough light on the subject to focus well. But I caught enough to show the distinctive embryonic shape developing.
Camera note: taken with a Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG macro lens, full set of extension tubes, and a Sigma EM-140 DG ring flash.
