More rats, I’m afraid, but today I sat and watched three of them as they scurried around the fringes of Falmer Pond: a bold adult, and a couple of juveniles who couldn’t quite make up their mind whether or not to venture out. I wasn’t the source of their anxiety. They were more worried by the gulls stomping around just above their bolt-hole.
