Too many photos…

I've taken too many photos today… here's a fairly random selection.

I took too many of these…
Goldfinch having a bath

And far too many of these…
Fulmar about to take flight

I only took a couple of these…
It's the right way up… pond reflection 😉

And I suspect it's not possible to take too many of these…

Camera note: all the bird shots taken with the Canon 40D and EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS lens. The fox cubs were photographed with the EF70-300mm 4.5-5.6 DO IS lens.

Never too many photos (especially of foxes, of course!) 😉

That goldfinch look so happy. I guess I have that expression of satisfaction under shower, after a training 😆 😆

Great post. Those little foxes are so handsome! Loved the Goldfinch!
I took too many today too. Over a hundred and did even get out of the backyard!

Your whole blog is evidence of that. 😆

Robin, the trouble with taking so many shots is the time it takes to sort them out.

Vulpes, I may even have too many fox photos (but don't tell anyone).

Deb, it's easily done with digital cameras.

Darko, goldfinches are great little birds. They quite like that pond when it's hot.

Mark, it's a bit of an occupational hazard, but better to take too many than to miss the one shot you really want.

I had to laugh with rueful recognition at the title of this post. I'm moderately frightened at the size of my "to be edited" folder after my adventures in Saskatchewan over the past 12 days, and I've still got three more parks to visit :insane:

Anyway, these are lovely shots. Especially like the goldfinch! And the cubs are looking quite the handful…

I can't imagine how many shots you've got. I'm having trouble keeping up at the moment and I'm not even going anywhere.
