I was browsing through the photo galleries and noticed how many of us are taking pictures of animals. So I checked the 'groups' feature to see if there was anywhere we could exchange stories and so on, or share images that don't fit so well in personal space. It seemed not, so I've created a Wildlife group. The link to join it is: http://my.opera.com/wildlifegroup/about/.

There's a dedicated forum space, plus photo album.

Webroot just proved itself this morning. It caught 11 reporter cookies and one Back-door Trojan.

Not a bad find, when you consider Bill Gates scans for stuff here every am around 2. Google Webroot. It's just a few bucks or they may still have a free version.

I thought someone was poking about in my Compaqy1. Zapped him now!

Posted the Webroot screen [ small thumbnail] on:

Terrence, don't worry about paying tribute to Rosa twice. She deserves it.

Some times a comment goes the long way around, pausing for a breath in China or random scanning in the Brock Mountain Security complex. Then it shows up a little after your second post..eh?

  9. Hi Words

    I joined:)

    Thanks for thinking about this.

  10. Hello. I see a lot of foxes where I live, in Twickenham. In fact, they howl all night in the cemetery across from where I live.

By the way, nice variation of the Hassan i Sabbah quote. I am also a Burroughs fan.

Full story behind the Hassan i Sabbah quote is over here.

    hello,

i am from florida, in the US. i have a question you may or may not be able to help me with.

i have seen this animal in the woods around here that resembles a fox in many ways, but is not any animal that i've ever heard of.

it is about the size of a larg-ish fox, but thin, not fat at all. it was mostly, if not entirely gray-white-black. it stood on it's hind legs with its front legs tucked up, like a prarie dog, looking around. when it ran, it bounded much like a squirrel, and then i noticed it's tail: big, bushy, beautiful tail like a squirrel, waving up and down as it ran.

im not sure if this is a type of fox. a year ago or so i thought i saw something in an old wildlife book about a "squirrel fox". (not the "fox squirrel", which it defintely is not)

i am curious if anyone else has seen this strange animal, and might have some idea of what it is. it is obvious not popular, mentioned much, etc. i have a couple of friends that have seen it too.

get back to me if you know anything, please.

    beastinthesky@hotmail.com

    thanks, tyler
