The fox and the camera bag

I promise some photos later on tonight, but I'm still having intermittent problems uploading files. I suspect it's a fault between my computer and the router (hard wired). I've just borrowed Mrs Words' computer (wifi connected) and could upload without any problems. I've switched leads and connection points on my machine, but without success. Looks like I need a new router 🙁

Anyway, apologies for the preamble. I've taken something like 400 photos this weekend and about 2GB of video, with masses of great fox photos among them. So it's frustrating not being able to upload much of anything. Here's one I did manage to upload last night.

This afternoon we were working in the garden when the young male appeared. He settled in his usual spot, watching us watching him. I was shooting video and stills, so had the camera bag parked at the bottom of the garden by the pond. I was happily filming away as he trotted toward the pond for a drink.

I must admit I wasn't paying too much attention to the wider scene, just switching between cameras, when this happened. The main action is right at the start. Click the player to load the video.

    Aw he wanted to play with the camera bag, i like they way u said Oi!, the fox seemed to say oops sorry boss and did the walk of shame:D

    I'm sure there'll be plenty of South Downs reports over the next few months 😉 And when I get my connection sorted (maybe risk getting a new router at the weekend), I'll upload some more video.
